Almost everyone likes to watch movies and there is a whole batch of new movies that release every week but some of them are good while some of them are not as good. This is true for every decade and there are some phenomenal movies and some bad movies that hit the box office every decade. Let us go down the memory lane and talk about the worst movies that were released in the last decade.
The sequel to the movie nutty professor by the name of nutty professor 2- the klumps was really a bad movie and in fact it was a useless sequel. The once celebrated comedian Eddie Murphy saw a definite downfall with this movie and it proved to be a wrong move when already his career was on the rocks. The movie was not all bad as it had some good and funny parts but all together it did not do well.
The 2002 movie by the name of ‘the scorpion king’ was another bad movie of the decade. This movie was more like a spin off and was indeed a terrible film to watch as it had no connection with magic or fantasy and it concentrated on one character. The people really hated the movie and it is because of such movies that people think badly about every spin off movie.
The year 2004 came with another weird and shocking movie which was called ‘Garfield’ and calling it an eccentric adaptation would not be wrong. Garfield as the name suggests was loosely based on the very famous cartoon character by the same name but the movie came nowhere close to the popularity of the original character.
The movie ‘Green Street’ was released in the year 2005 and became another powerful entry in the list of worst movies ever made. However some people might have a different opinion about the movie but the majority thinks that this was just another football movie with no power to attract the audience.
The movie ‘Orphan’ from the year 2009 was completely ridiculous in every sense of the word. This movie attracted a lot of controversies due to its bizarre storyline and failed to impress the audience in any manner. These were only a handful of the movies that failed at the box office in the last decade because they lacked the ability to attract more people to the theatres.
