Erich Lacher’s Patience-Testing, Handless Watch

Looking at the watch, I thought it to be some kind of a prank. But no! The thing is for real! Produced by Erich Lacher, the ABACUS is designed by Roy Schafer.

The dial, for reasons unknown, is blank, with a tiny little ball bearing rolling around in freedom! You move your hand, and it spins stupidly, but the moment your hand comes to a still in a horizontal position, it tells you the exact time.

No magic friends! It’s pure magnetism that makes it do so.

The ABACUS comes in a stainless steel case, adorned with a high quality leather strap. What’s more, it’s water resistant up to 30 meters.

It is a good accessory for the patient lot, but those with a high temper, go for a watch with nice and simple hands indicating the time! Meanwhile the ABACUS comes in a number of designs, with the same handless surface of course. If it suits your temperament, it can be yours for $152.77.
