Sony PS3 gets augumented-reality-based Eyepet game

Good news for those who have always wanted to have a pet but dropped the idea just because of the mess they create: Sony PlayStation 3 is out with its latest release, the Eyepet, which enables players to fiddle around with their virtual pet using a bundled camera and a hands-on card (used to bring up menus, toys and monitor their pet’s health besides other basic functions). You can poke and play around with your virtual pet by making gestures near the pet’s vicinity.

The beta version of the game was unveiled in New York, and the worldwide release can be expected any time next month. The most awaited release this year from Sony PS3, and fans can’t wait to get their hands on this one.
