The tragic crash landing of the world’s only supersonic plane sealed its fate and the entire Concorde fleet was grounded. Well, not anymore, because Ed Diment, a LEGO enthusiast built an airplane model to immortalize the B-1B Lancer and impressed other Concorde fans at Mach 2. The model is astonishingly ‘functional’, as the landing gear can be neatly shoved under the fuselage and the trademark nose goes up and down. This could be one LEGO Concorde model, which might actually inspire the guys in France to rebuild Concorde and bring those wonderful supersonic birds to fly once again. Meanwhile, LEGO fans can have a gala time assembling and dissembling the Concorde in the luxury of their homes and pretending to fly to Paris.
